HIGH QUALITY TOOL INSERT MADE OF TWO-COLORED FOAM

MAXIMUM INDIVIDUALIZATION OF YOUR TOOL INSERTS WITH TWO-COLOR FOAMS
Whether in the automotive, aerospace, watchmaking or jewelry industries, in order to be able to use tools professionally in production, they must be arranged sensibly, clearly and easily accessible. This is exactly where our tool inserts perform best. The optional two-color design of the inlays allows for maximum individualization – so you can see immediately whether your tools are complete and in place.

The tools of many well-known manufacturers are stored in our database. This enables us to quickly and flexibly manufacture the right tool inlays for you. The modification of tool inserts on request and the use of different foam materials is also possible without any problems.

USE OF TOOL INSERTS

Whether in the automotive, aviation, watchmaking or jewelry industries: If tools are to be used professionally and ergonomically in production, they must be arranged sensibly, clearly and easily accessible. This is exactly where our tool inserts perform best: The high-quality foams are processed so precisely that each tool is accommodated exactly in its place. With the optional two-color design of the inserts, we also achieve the highest possible individualization – so you immediately have an overview of whether your tools are complete and in place.

FOAM TOOL INSERT: PROPERTIES

The foam tool inserts have excellent properties that make them ideal for use in production. Thus, they are extremely durable and insensitive, which allows daily use for many years. The high strength of the foam ensures that the tools are held securely and protects them from damage during transport.

The foam inserts are milled to fit precisely and very accurately. In addition, they can be flexibly adapted to individual specifications so that you receive exactly the insert that meets your requirements. The design also plays a role: A tool insert not only serves for safe storage, but also offers the possibility of a clear and attractive presentation of your tools.

SHADOWBOARD FOR TOOLS: DIFFERENT FOAMS FOR EVERY NEED

We use different foams in the production of shadowboards for tools. For example, different PE (polyethylene) foams are used. PE foam has high strength as well as insulating properties, so your tool is always well protected. If special requirements are placed on the packaging solution, the foam can be made antistatic (AS), electrically conductive (ESD) or flame retardant. Due to its robustness, the foam is also very durable and can be used for many years without any problems.

ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMICAL – ADVANTAGES OF FOAM INSOLES

Foam insert brings many advantages. One of the most important is the long life of the high-quality material. This allows the inserts to be used for a long time, both for storage and transport. As a result, you do not have to regularly replace the shadowboards for suitcases, KLTs or similar, which is the case with inferior products. You thus save time and money. This also has a positive effect on the environment, as you can use the inserts as reusable packaging and there is less waste. If you wish, we can use 100% recyclable foam for your foam tool insert. Accordingly, this can be easily recycled or reused.

INDIVIDUAL DESIGN FOR AN ATTRACTIVE PRESENTATION

The foam tool inserts can be flexibly adapted to provide the ideal presentation. Because shadowboards are not only used to transport tools safely – the inserts are also excellent for display. Here we offer you various options for individualization. For example, you can choose between foams in different colors. In addition, a two-color design of the foam tool inserts is optionally possible, which makes the tool look more eye-catching.

Another option for personalizing the foam insert is our laser inscription (WBS). On request, we can laser your logo, dimensions or a text into the foam, for example. The inscription is permanent and – unlike an imprint – will not wear off. The laser marking system can be used for PE and PU foams alike.

MANUFACTURING ON THE MOST MODERN PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT

Wetropa’s tool inserts are manufactured on state-of-the-art CNC machines and with a high level of automation. This allows not only precise cutouts for each individual tool shape, but also the design of different depths. As a result, the contents are immovably fixed during transport, which further increases the protective function of our tool inserts – and thus also the durability and service life of your work equipment. Particularly sensitive products such as measuring and test equipment, thermal imaging cameras and many more benefit from this. You can’t achieve this with a “classic” metal toolbox, in which everything is more or less jumbled up. Our tool inserts, also known as shadowboards, not only provide sufficient protection, but also ensure a good overview of whether each individual piece is in its place, especially when using HPRC cases or small load carriers (SLC).

DIFFERENT FOAMS FOR THE MOST DEMANDING REQUIREMENTS

Wetropa uses different foams from the PE (polyethylene) family for the production of tool inserts. The material is characterized by high strength, durability and good insulating properties. For special requirements on shadowboards, it can also be used as an electrically conductive, antistatic or flame-retardant material.

Polyethylene offers a number of economic and ecological advantages. Its long service life eliminates the need for frequent replacement of your mold inserts, as is the case with inferior grades. This reduces your operating costs and at the same time contributes to environmental protection.

AVOIDING AND NEUTRALIZING CO₂ EMISSIONS – OUR CONTRIBUTION TO SUSTAINABILITY

The topic of sustainability has been a special priority for us not just since yesterday. The processing of foams inevitably produces CO₂ emissions. We avoid and reduce these on the one hand by optimizing manufacturing processes and material use. On the other hand, we neutralize the CO₂ generated by us by supporting a wide range of climate protection projects.

Wetropa is certified according to ISO 14001, the globally accepted and applied standard for environmental management systems. In addition, we hold the certificate as a climate-neutral company from ClimatePartner, which certifies that we offset CO₂ emissions through the aforementioned climate protection projects.
