Sustainability is a holistic topic that runs like a green thread through our company and is an important factor in all decisions.
Especially in the less sunny months, the electricity we produce ourselves is often not enough to cover production peaks, which is why we also have to buy in electricity externally. It is particularly important to us that this electricity also comes from sustainable sources.
In addition to our photovoltaic system, we therefore only purchase green electricity that comes from 100% European hydroelectric, wind or photovoltaic systems.

Climate neutrality for companies includes direct emissions caused within the company (electricity and heat generation, vehicle fleet, volatile gases) and indirect emissions from purchased energy, business travel and employee commuting. Other indirect emissions that occur outside the company in the manufacture of raw materials and preliminary products, external logistics and the use and disposal of products or other processes are not covered by climate neutrality.

At Wetropa, we are proud to be pioneers in the field of sustainable packaging solutions and are actively committed to an environmentally friendly future. We have been a climate-neutral company since 2019 and are continuously investing in sustainable development, with material-oriented solutions such as ReFoam and RePaper playing a key role.
Our ReFoam products are made from sustainable foams that are mono-materials, single-origin and fully recyclable. Our RePaper range is also fully recyclable and an efficient and cost-effective solution for a wide range of packaging requirements. By continuously improving processes and optimizing the use of materials, we ensure that our packaging solutions conserve resources.
